02:44 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Just you know, sitting here the vibe's still strong after the number one seed Detroit Lions took down. I know you were on the right side of that game. I actually was not. I thought it was going to be a close one played some early Vikings numbers. But Sam Darnold I don't know if he'll have to pay for a drink around here anytime soon after last night's performance. Yeah, that was the old Sam Darnold we knew for most of his career before last night.

03:18 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, lights seem to be too big and also, I would say, even to a lesser extent, seem to be too big for the Minnesota coach. I thought some questionable decisions kicking it instead of going for it. Don't have to ever worry about that, about your you know big balls, dan Campbell.

03:32 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
No, I love it. So yeah, that was and I will. Just that I mean for Minnesota or Detroit, like the difference in pathway, in like with the stakes on that game, is basically the difference between the realistic shot to make the Superbowl and not. You like you're not going to go on the road and win three playoff games in most cases, especially, you know, from the lion's side with some of the depth issues they were having. But but now, as you, as we talked, last show got a, got a real home field advantage they should get.

04:08
You going to play Minnesota again. Do you think so?

04:12 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't think so no, I kind of like the Rams in that game.

04:15 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Me too.

04:16 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
All right yeah. I think, Donald, I mean, that was rough and I've been wanting to. I've been thinking this Minnesota team's been overrated for a while now. Uh, they just, they've gotten me on a few games. Got me on the seattle game a couple weeks ago, uh. But I was surprised, a lot of you got a lot of y'all were on minnesota I, I was, I was square, I like detroit last night.

04:41 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
So I mean, I thought a thought Aaron Glenn, from a defensive scheme point of view, was really phenomenal. To get that much pressure without, you know, the two best pass rushers on the team being out for the year was really something, and they were able to kind of keep George. I think Addison had like one catch zero yard. So yeah, that was as impressive a defensive scheme as he's put together since he's been here.

05:10 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
No question, he felt pretty good, comfortable. Late in the game he even propped his feet up on the bench. Loved it. Loved that, loved it. I don't know. I'm happy for the Lions. I really, truly hope they win it all. I don't know, I'm happy for the Lions. I really truly hope they win it all. I don't normally root for a lot of professional teams, but I'm rooting for the Lions. Let's get to the Super Chat. Sean Higgs, no doubt about it. $150. Now we're talking. Happy New Year gents. Well, happy New Year to you, sean. Any truth to the Kanish Joy Taylor rumors? Uh-ohoh, scandalous rad on the espn.

05:45 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Uh, the other day love it well apparently breaking news yeah, I was gonna say I I based on uh reporting. I don't, I, I don't think she would have been the toughest one to uh, you know, have a night out with. If you know what I'm saying. Yeah, she was moving, but yeah that I tell you what that was making the rounds on social yesterday. I'm fascinated to see what the fallout is or what they do after that. I don't know. I think more to come on that situation.

06:23
Also, acho has been like maybe the cheesiest sports personality in like social on the last like few years he was like hosting the bachelor at some point. So, yeah, this kind of maybe I'll get him out of the limelight for a little bit there. Um, but yeah, I mean, maybe you'll be coming to us from uh, what's the city in connecticut where they have uh, where espn is bristol brist? Yeah, I was gonna say you might be. You know, you know you're already coming back to this side of the country up, uh, a little little drive to bristol uh every week to get on site. Uh, who knows?

07:05 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
now that, now that, uh, they gotta pay me, I I don't take, yeah, I you don't take, uh, whatever the yeah my let's just say my, uh, my, my cost to do business is a lot different than what it was even a couple years ago. Uh, yeah, fs1 I no comment there. But I'll just say, not surprised by a few of the names. I know people that worked at fs1. Hell, I even collected a fox paycheck for a few years. Uh, not surprised by a couple of the names that were named there. From what I heard and this is four or five years ago fabulous one in the chat. Choice of wagers big 10 college football playoff winner at minus 200, or ohio state minus 120, or money line rollover on the Buckeyes. Probably Moneyline rollover on the Buckeyes would probably pay best. What do?

07:51 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
you think I agree with that, and of the two, I would take Ohio State too. You don't want to call it over, you don't want to call it over, and I know actually there was some thin prices out in the desert on them to win it all. I think that were thinner than at FanDuel and some other places that I thought about taking part in today. I haven't officially pulled the trigger, but I guess I'm. We talked about it a little last show, I'm just not. If this is the Ohio State ceiling and we're seeing it, none of these other three teams has even come close to putting that together in four quarters. For throughout any of the games I've seen this season, I mean you would have thought maybe Texas early when they smoked Michigan in that. The second half of the season, though, that what we've seen from Texas is, and just the inconsistent play from Quinn ears. It's like I don't know. I just I just think they're going to win the title. So yeah, it might be an investment I'm making here shortly.

09:00 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Fabulous one. Also in the chat, fcs championship game, thoughts leaning under. Well, we've been waiting for this one.

09:06 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
We've been waiting for this one.

09:08 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, market seems to agree with you. Seems to be a little bit more money on Montana State, the favorite. You want to pull it up, Zach? Yep, we're at 3.5. Over money has taken. I think it was as low as 55 and a half, 56, up to 58 and a half Heard from a few people I respect, or that they like over nothing, big though either way. But I've heard enough people that are on your side, respectable people that like Montana state. You want to go head to head or are you? Are you putting your fist on the table and you want to lay with Montana state?

09:43 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
So I did. I did have playedana state. Uh, a little bit better than what's out there in the market. I even saw some. The last stop I was at had a four on the bison. Um, some guys I met with actually played back a little under 59 this morning, so I know there was an early over move.

10:01
Uh, you know around 50. As you said, 55 and a half got up to the high 50s this morning. Little playback on the under, I do. It's not going to be the strongest opinion we've had on this show. I do like this. What number you want to go head to head at?

10:18 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
what the consensus?

10:19 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
three and a half all right, zach put it it's even three and a half flat at FanDuel. Let's go head to head.

10:27 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I'll take the Bison with a Z Bison you can take Montana State, the Bobcats.

10:33 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah.

10:33
I think, montana State a couple of key players that were just getting back from injury that I think, will be much healthier coming into this game, and body of work. I think they were the best team in FCS this year, and my guy touchdown Tommy Merlot, you know, going into it. So I will say North Dakota State. It kind of, at one point in the year, I thought it was going to be a little bit of a lost season. Are they still, you know, are they falling out of that upper elite echelon tier, the offense offense? Really, they made some significant changes this year. It took a while to get hold. It did. It had come together though, which is part of the reason I wasn't too keen on, you know, getting big on this under position. I think normally lay off a championship game, but their offense has really had it rolling in the playoff, so it should be a good game. But yeah, I would lean that way a little head-to-head to finish off the FCS year.

11:31 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
All right, look forward to it. Good game, I like it. Top two teams. Top two teams from well, no, south Dakota State's still up there, but still should be a good one. Obviously, north Dakota State beat South Dakota State twice, so Montana State be a good one. Obviously north coast state beats south dakota state twice, so montana state unbeaten. Love montana state at the start of the season. Can't believe I didn't catch that fucking new mexico. That uh, in week zero, unbelievable sucks. Uh, charles in the chat, quite an extensive player prop menu for the game tonight and the playoff games. With so few games, are you guys in the weeds finding any value? Well, I think the guy in the weeds is right there. Live in person, taking advantage of it well, you know what I mean.

12:10 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, chuck, if you want to say in the weeds, I'm, uh, you know I'm, I'm laying in the weeds, um, but you know the the counter I would say here is as some of the best we would get. You know, the best stuff that at least was available, that we would try to give out on the show was usually in small off. You know some of the other small goal games off market. These are games, these playoff games. You know you're going to be finding very thin margins. There's not, you know, significant injuries on either side where you're going to have a lot of new information or any of that. So you know what we'll do. Let's lead into it because we're doing a lead-in. What Thursday for the first game?

12:55 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I think so Zach can correct me. Are we doing a lead-in? Are we doing a Thursday show? Are we doing a Friday show? I don't know. I'll look into this.

13:09 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
My bad, I should know terrible thursday.

13:11 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Thursday jan 9 thursday jan 9.

13:13 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Friday jan 10 both lead-ins.

13:17 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I'd rather lead-ins better than no no, all right according hold on hold on, hold on.

13:21 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
No, we're doing the.

13:22 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
we're doing the lead into the orange bowl on thursday and we're doing the lead into the Orange Bowl on Thursday, and then we're doing the halftime of the Cotton Bowl. This is per the boss Moreto, so lead into the Orange Bowl, halftime of the Cotton Bowl. Is that correct? I'm reading it.

13:37 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Yep, I'm reading that too.

13:38 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yep.

13:40 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Canish's face when you said that. Yeah.

13:46 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
This fucking guy. You know, what Moreto's trying? He's ready to be the 51st state here. Yeah, yeah.

13:56 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
No plans for you and me on a Friday night?

13:59 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I was going to say he's winding down.

14:00 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Nope, got to do a halftime, not lead in Halftime. So that's late for you, isn't it? I was going to say winding down.

14:07 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Nope, got to do a halftime, not lead in Halftime. That's late for you, isn't it? I was going to say, yeah, it might be doing it from in bed.

14:13 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
If you have to. I mean is what?

14:15
it is All right. There you go. There's your schedule. If you're tired of seeing us afraid I got some bad news you're going to see us twice more this week. Uh-oh, I'm getting texts from the boss. Rado says we don't have to do any Friday show at all if you guys don't want to. I just said I mean, you just had me advertise it. So now I'm going to go against my word. Do we want to do a lead-in instead of a halftime? What do we want to do a lead-in instead of a halftime? What do we want to do on Friday?

14:44 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, let's do a lead-in. Yeah, I'd rather do a lead-in.

14:46 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Let's do a lead-in to that. We'll recap what we saw in the Orange Bowl and we'll lead into the Cotton Bowl. I love it.

14:52 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Now I love, it All right, that's why we need to, so we'll just do our typical.

14:57 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Maybe we, our typical people, are used to seeing us Friday at 5. Let's do Friday at 5. So Thursday at 5,. Friday at 5, right or is?

15:06 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
the lead.

15:07 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
In late on Thursday I got to look at this. Nope, we're doing Thursday at 5, friday at 5. Boom, beautiful Executive decision. I just made the call. That's what we're doing. You don't like it? Tough shit. And that's you, moreno. No, I'm kidding. Okay, thursday and Friday at 5. Makes sense, all right, keep it going in the chat. Connor, in the chat Divisional, I don't want to bring up that player. I was going to bring up a player prop. The fact you didn't bring it up means that I should shut up Connor in the chat. Divisional round will be Washington, detroit mini Philly commies upset the Lions.

15:45 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I mean, Connor, come on now, Do we do? Okay, so do you got any divisional? First I would say that the one divisional bet from our friend over at the Hitmen was actually the commies so far. You got any divisional action.

16:02 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I'd agree with that. I do too. I do like the commies this weekend.

16:04 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I'd agree with that. I do too. I do like the Commies this weekend.

16:07 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I wouldn't like them against the.

16:08 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Lions.

16:10 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, he gave out Washington hit man. I agree with that. I gave out the squarest play of the week, but I like it. I gave out the teaser Buffalo and the Rams. So about six-point teaser Buffalo, two-and and a half rams plus seven and a half. What's your thoughts on that?

16:28 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
yeah, no, I don't mind that. No concern with the. Uh, the old bo nick season, uh, yeah are you kidding me?

16:35 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
you think they're gonna go in there. You gotta be kidding me. All right, we'll see. No, I know there isn't, but I mean it can happen.

16:44 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
No, I do like yeah, I was gonna say that's so square, but we'll see.

16:51 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I think the rams can beat the vikings. Uh, I could see washington I think so too. Yeah, I'm just looking. Two thoughts, let's just give quick thoughts. Uh, I don't know. Everyone's burying the Steelers, I don't. I mean it's up to 10. I kind of lean Pittsburgh at 10. What's going on with? You're more in the weeds on the NFL. What's going on with Philly? Is Hurts going to play or not? Early money on Philly.

17:20
I mean, this was At three and a half I was like I couldn't wait to bet Philly. But now what is it? He's still in concussion protocol. I'm guessing he's still going to play.

17:32 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I would guess that too. Honestly, I think once you have the week off unless there's something legitimately wrong, I think most of these guys get cleared for a playoff game. So I would think so too. I know our buddy the Hitman was on Philly early. We had a little argument, but Green Bay is I mean, with the Watson injury, some of the other injuries they have, they've also just looked miserable down the stretch here. Yeah, I think at this point, though now that it's out to five, I still find looking at a four still.

18:11
Oh, you know what I was going to say with that report there was a little buy.

18:16 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Three and a half Two, three and a half Offshore.

18:21 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
You seeing that I'm not in front of the screen.

18:24 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
That's what worried me a little bit. I'm like uh-oh.

18:27 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah.

18:28 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Ganesh, you couldn't be more in front of the screen.

18:31 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Well, I'm in front of screens, not the screen though. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm in front of TV screens. Yeah, the fan does scream but yeah, yeah, I mean I'll let.

18:47 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, you're going to have to ask around. You got to get your mold out Well.

18:50 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I know One of our guy contacts in Philly Was looking into it. I find it hard to believe he does not play.

18:58 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
I agree.

18:59 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
So to me, I think three and a half is as good as it's getting. That's probably worth a bet. Now, there is some risk, because if he doesn't play, then you're talking about Like so Alright, we'll talk more. Now there is some risk, because if he doesn't play, then you're talking about like oh yeah, so.

19:12 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
All right, we'll talk more. We'll mix in some NFL stuff throughout. Keep in mind you're going to see us a couple more times this week and we're down to just a few games. Kevin in the chat. Oh yeah, we already talked about that. Connor, do you fellas agree with the Bobcats money that came in today? I like the Bison. Well, we conflicted Bobcats money. The money is with Knish. You and me, connor, are on the Bison. There you go. Austin in the chat. Thoughts on Will Howard over one and a half passing touchdowns minus 140. I kind of like that over.

19:43 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I don't mind that at all, that seems pretty square though. What are we not seeing? Austin said he's done a nine in the last ten. To be honest with you, I would have not don't try and get it too much like he's done it in X amount of last in terms of prop matchup, but to be honest, I'm a little surprised he's done it nine in the last ten. I would lean that way as well, and that's another one.

20:07 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
What was the game? He didn't do it.

20:11 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I not a lot of time. I would lean that way as well, and that's an awesome.

20:15 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
What was the game he didn't do?

20:15 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
it. I think you know, yeah, okay, yeah, but he ain't seen that team anytime soon?

20:23 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
That seems square but yeah, I definitely agree with you there. I can't make a case for the under. Guy asked hey guys, great call on the weekend bowl game Strong ending. Thank you, yeah, we did.

20:33 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
We buried the lead Buffalo in the under with an easy as easy as you like double dip winner there.

20:40 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
So yeah, that was man I tell you we did bury the lead. So everyone you know, even when we it's just you know we. So everyone you know, even when we it's just you know, we did what we always do. This year, let's win.

20:52 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
That was. I got to tell you. I was about a snoozer. I watched about a quarter of that bowl game. I saw what Liberty was putting on the field and that was. That was about enough for me. So very glad we got that financially from an entertainment standpoint, woof.

21:08 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
That was, and we won that total too in the bowl game. Remember we had a couple guys in the chat chirping us oh yeah, oh yeah. We had our buddy Dave. And then the other guy was asking for a refund and said the game was going to score 80 points.

21:21 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, worst total he's ever seen, going to score 80 points. I said well, sir, at the end of the show the live total was under that and then it went under. Also, I think Dave's best bet was Virginia Tech Minnesota over 43.

21:36 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, how'd that do? Where's Dave at Dave Dave?

21:42 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
It's funny, I was going to say last week's show. We had already seen 300 comments from Dave. He's a little quiet today. Now Interesting, yeah, brant quiet today.

21:50 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Now Interesting, yeah, brent, in the chat. We got a couple of super chats. We love you guys, brent. 1999. Fcs game First time I'm offered player props for this game. Any takes, let's have a week. You were the man on FCS player props.

22:05 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
You know what I should have checked with our guy Alex who. You know what I should have checked with our guy Alex, who likes to dig into those before the show. But I did bet one. It was the Montana State, I think Adam Jones running back over Now granted a little risk.

22:17
Scotty Humphrey, who was like their number one, was hurt and then last week was last game, I think his first game back, so they've been kind of splitting it, but Jones has been the lead back since he went out, so splitting it, but um, jones has been the lead backs and he went out, so I think it was over 16 and a half on him. Um, not nothing to crazy, though, uh, because a little bit with the time off is Humphrey now going to be running back one again, so there's some crazy. But yeah, yeah, I was gonna say Dave, dave, everyone's looking for Dave and he's not here. Um, so, but yeah, other than that, no, didn't get anything to a lot of the early when they were offering props a few weeks ago. Just those numbers have now been kind of baked into the market, so the ones we were able to get ahead on early in some of the FCS games are no longer available.

23:06 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Trip also with a super chat. 10 bucks USA Hockey's game-winning overtime goal on the world juniors, with freebird playing in the arena, was a sports moment on the weekend right of the year so far maybe of the century.

23:21 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Uh, just yeah, what a, what a moment to uh to be. In that I mean zach left on purpose, you know, after canada, canada got left, they wanted they said, hey, can you cover the rest of this tournament? He was too distraught, he went back home, wouldn't even, wouldn't even go after. And his Sweden, his big Sweden, you know, that was his other, that was his adopted team Got even lost to the lost to the rival Finns, usa down 3 one comes back, wins it in overtime. That I mean that's like. You know, it's not the miracle on ice, but it was. It's close. But that's why we're a hockey country Now, we're the dominant hockey country in the world now. So we expect to win gold.

24:02 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
We do back to back, I think for the first time ever back to back yeah, for the first time ever. Correct me if I'm wrong.

24:07 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
First time we've done it ever. He's not going to correct you.

24:10 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
No, that's, I believe, correct.

24:13 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah.

24:14 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Any thoughts? Canada in the news today bud.

24:18 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Any thoughts on what's going on? Hey, you know what? Hockey Canada, the accountability starts at the top.

24:26 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
You go out in the corners back to back.

24:27 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
It starts at the top. He said enough of this. I'm on the hot seat here. I'll deal with this.

24:34 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Love it.

24:35 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Yeah, yeah, that's what we do here in this country. Take accountability.

24:40 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, we just win. Yeah, that's what we do Win first, questions later. Step on a duck says there's a weather advantage tonight for montana state, lay with the bobcats, so you got. Step on a duck on your side condition you know what?

25:00
let's uh, you know, for 10-15 minutes, since we seem to be split. I know this is extra work for zach, but let's put a poll up. I want to see what the we got the smartest audience in the country, who you got tonight? North Dakota state plus three and a half. Montana state minus three and a half. Boom, do a little poll. We'll come back to it in 15 minutes. Sound fun, I don't know. Yeah, whatever.

25:22 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Throw it up, yeah, I like it.

25:23 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Throw it up there. See what we got right in the chat. Hate buying points, but play to juice Penn State plus three. Don't hate it. I think you're going to get a three, though, looking at reading the market, tee leaves here.

25:36 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I'm in. I'm in at three. I'm in at three minus 115. So, yeah, I'm with you, brennan. I've been looking for that myself. There's a few books that'll get you a cheap three, and so not a cheap three, but like you can get on the three without having to pay, you know, 30 cents or whatever some places try and charge. So, but, yeah, that's, I'm going to two and a half three. I will be hashtag. We are beyond Penn State.

26:08 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, we'll be breaking this one. I think we're going to have best bet on this game.

26:13 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah.

26:14 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Definitely on the Thursday show at 5, make sure you're checking it out. Probably a couple best bets on the game Zach in the chat, where's our guy Dave at? After guaranteeing the Virginia Tech Minnesota over on Friday? Very sad.

26:26 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Where is he? I don't know.

26:27 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Funny, very sad. Where is he? I don't know. Funny AG says how is Notre Dame still favored over Penn State?

26:35 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, Well, the AG, it's only going one way and that's the guy.

26:42 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
11 straight covers for Notre Dame, one of the longest streaks in recent history. Kyle in the chat. Anything from Joey Pucks tonight.

26:52 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
We are. We're dipping into a little crack tonight. Kyle, On the cracking big number tonight, I think it was around plus 215. So if you got any, that was the only Pucks tonight was big dog swinging for the stencils on the cracking around. Yeah, it was plus 215-ish. I think I got like 217. Was there an Edgework? Edgework.

27:15 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Now I got to know what Edgework has.

27:16 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, the collab with the Blackhawks went well.

27:20 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
Yeah, it did go well. We've got two plays here tonight for Edgework. First one would be Canucks Habs under six minus 115, and second one would be Panthers Avalanche under six and a half minus 118. Love it. Those are the two, yep.

27:40 - Brad Powers (Co-host)

Love that Sam Egg in the chat so square, but how do you not keep betting Jeremiah Smith over seeing 80.5?

28:37 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Well, I mean someone asked what was the number. When they asked, it was 70-something, wasn't it?

28:42 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
like 75, 77, something like that.

28:45 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, and we said, listen, it's only going to go one way, so you might as well lock it in now. Um, and to be honest with you, egg, I think it probably closes low 80s, um, so I hear I, I just I agree with you. Now. Could you see them throw everything at smith and try and do yes, but just from a number point of view, I don't know, I don't know If the Buckeyes play like that.

29:13 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I mean we're looking at they're going to have a four or five-game run here that they look like by far the best team. It's like the run that you see from teams that win it all. Do you hear from a?

29:26 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
macro perspective. Does it bother you and I heard this on our friends on another show Does it bother you at all that this will be the first college football champion that would not have been crowned in any previous era, that they wouldn't have made the Final Four, that they wouldn't have made the Final Four, they wouldn't have made the Final Two, they wouldn't have won the AP Is there any?

29:58 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Didn't win their conference like did it bother me. So, as a CFP traditionalist, Well, I think it just goes to show. I mean, everybody cried about an expanded playoff. Oh, it's going to help the little guy. No, it gives a team like an ohio state or a georgia and alabama access when they normally would be out. Now they're still in, and now I mean there's only a few schools that can win, you know three, four in a row that have the roster. So I think it's more of that than anything.

30:31 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm kind of with you. I even know that it's probably going to be Ohio State that's winning it this year and would have, you know, would have been out in years past.

30:40 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
It's not like they had the easiest path, like Penn State, so I mean they're going to earn it on the field four straight.

30:48 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, no, I mean I prefer maybe 12 was a bit overkill to the teams that I thought really should have been in it, but I mean they still would have been in it with eight. So I don't know, I think the settle on the field mentality makes the most sense, especially with the new era where I think you're seeing, instead of one or two elite teams that would have just killed everybody, that seems to have flattened out to where now we'll go into years with eight teams, 12 teams that can win it all.

31:29 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
You still think there's that many.

31:30 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I still think there's only maybe four to six, which is better than even the past, or yeah, no, I think probably, you know again be a little debatable year to year, but I agree with you, it's gone from one or two to now at least four to six, maybe in in some years, you know, eight to 10 that have an actual shot to win it all. I think this format would have been much stupider in the, you know, if you go back three or five years pre-NIL, pre-transfer portal, you know, when you've had the mega teams, it would have been like oh, here's Alabama minus 38 and a half versus Arizona State. So I think it makes more sense with the era we're in, which is probably some luck that it aligned that way.

32:19 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, I need more years. If Ohio State kills Texas, kills Notre Dame or Penn State, I'm not going to. The best team is going to win the national championship. I'm not going to. The best team is going to win the national championship. So sick boy in the chat, like anything on the hypotheticals for the college football playoffs at FanDuel. So the look ahead lines no, I didn't really bet anything yet. I mean I just I think it's. I'm just looking to bet Ohio State. I mean I got something square and I ran this by you and I still like it. I like the teaser. Penn State and Ohio State Squares can be, but I love it.

32:53 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I don't mind that at all.

32:55 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Wow, William Edwards in the chat Iowa going to land the South Dakota State transfer Gronowski, Is that the word? I haven't been paying attention.

33:03 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I did see that that he was visiting. I got to tell you. I hope for him and his family's sake that's not the landing spot. But uh, I mean, maybe I will, maybe you know, maybe they're paying up a little bit, but I I don't know, I know he's visiting. I think he'll probably take a few. I know duck, duck is duck is thinking it's northwestern um but that's what the rumor was last year.

33:33 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Oh, step on a duck says it's confirmed, he's a hawkeye, there you go.

33:36 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Well, duck, you told us uh, northwestern, uh, last week, here you better come on now you gotta check, but no, so yeah, I don't. I think it's a nice move for Iowa. I don't know if I'm Gronkowski. If that would be the place I'd be wanting to you know, try and get one year to show I'm an NFL-level player.

34:03 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
But Doesn't move the needle. For me, alex in the chat prop line is much sharper, but I still like Cam Miller. He's the North Dakota State quarterback. Over 44 and a half rushing yards. He averaged 64 in the five biggest games, only to run the win. Don't hate it, there's our guy Alex.

34:19 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
That's the SPS prop, Alex. So there you go, Cam Miller, over 44 and a half.

34:24 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, that could be our. We're not going to best bet it. But there you go. If you need something tonight, boom, alex is over. I think that would be good for me if that hits. As far as my bet Cap wise in the chat, tennessee was without Dylan Sampson, oregon without Evan Stewart and Jordan James Something to think about? Yeah, I mean there is. It seems too easy for the Buckeyes. Are you getting that sentiment too? This was still a team that almost lost to Nebraska, lost to Oregon, lost to Michigan.

34:58 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
The argument I would have there is they didn't just win those games by the skin of their teeth, they blasted both teams into the sun. You know what I'm saying. So, yes, you can make the argument that those guys could have made a couple point difference, a little bit of game script and game theory and final stats.

35:18 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
but I mean have we seen anything from Texas that gives us a lot of optimism? What's the performance? Michigan first half Remember, we didn't catch the second half.

35:30 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I know, I know that's what I.

35:34 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
What is the game for Texas? I don't see it. Oh, I mean box score. They dominated A&M, but I mean they still were messing around in that game, had a goal line stand, otherwise they only won by three.

35:46 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, it's just it's consistent like it's consistent inconsistency from texas, where they they haven't put any type of game this season together that against a real opponent. That looked like what ohio state's done the last two weeks. So it doesn't mean I will from a, from just the guys who are suiting up, though on the last four teams, I think Texas is the only team that can beat Ohio state, like I think. If it, oh, I'll say that I don't think he's losing to Notre Dame or Penn state, just from the players that they're having. So this might be the last. If someone's going to get them, it would probably be Texas having playing in their A game and getting them.

36:30 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't think none of these teams are getting them. Jacob in the chat, can Penn State take advantage of the Notre Dame front seven and run it on them? I mean I would. I wouldn't try to get too cute, I'd try to run it at them. You use a little bit of misdirection. See, even catch Notre Dame. Uh, notre Dame's pretty disciplined but they are undersized. And I was very surprised Georgia didn't at least attempt to run at Notre Dame. But uh, I mean, that would be my. What would you do? I don't see the Penn State wide receivers having much success against Notre Dame secondary. Obviously Warren Tyler. Warren, I mean, that's your go-to guy, but Notre Dame's pretty good at safety and linebacker Watts or Shuler will be all over him. Yeah, so I just. This is going to be a slugfest, probably a lot like the Georgia game.

37:20 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, I don't, yeah, I don't. I mean both teams kind of well, I need to see Abdul-Kardo is is again. It looks like, just from what he's posting, that that he would be good to go. Um, but he I don't want to overstate it, but I'm not sure there's a more in terms of, like their draft stock combined with the production and the way they play, like he's probably worked himself into being potentially off the board before Travis, I mean, depending on what a team needs, you know, with Travis on her.

37:58 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
You think he's?

37:59 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
playing. I don't know, I don't know either. That's why I'm kind of we're waiting to put our pick.

38:08 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, because he does make a difference. Yeah, I think Notre Dame is in trouble running back. Just letting you know I'll bear the lead there. Okay, yep, kirk in the chat. Bryce Lance two touchdowns plus 440.

38:27 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Throw a, you know, if you like it. Kirk touchdowns plus 440. Throw a, you know, if you like it, throw a sprinkle on. He has been. I mean, they finally kind of that was one of our early prop winners from Alec, but they finally found him in terms of like. He took a while to develop and now you're talking about one of the guys probably one of the best receivers in FCS now and might have a chance to play at the next level. His brother probably should have played wide receiver if he wanted to be impactful.

38:55 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
So SK, did either of you play Ohio state to win it all at plus one 20 or plus one 15.? I did not. I just think bet them on the money line. Take that unit that to win that, beat Texas. Roll it over. Bet them on the money line. Take that unit that you win that, beat Texas, roll it over. Bet them on the money line against Penn State or Notre Dame. Take it and you're going to get paid more.

39:14 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
You know what I didn't SK. I wish. I mean I think I even saw some 125s originally when they were. Then I just never pulled the trigger. But I don't agree. I don't disagree with BP's take there that right now just your money line rolling.

39:36 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Yeah, I did look at my poll. I got 40-1 on Penn State and 33-1 on Notre Dame. Oh, Both losers. But oh well, At least I got that Yay. I don't know if people are going to say would you bet 15 of them? No, I only bet four. So two of the four, that's not too bad. I'm not a big national championship futures guy.

39:56 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, I was going to say I don't think I look back at the records but I don't think I bet a national championship future all season.

40:05 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I would have liked, I think I think future all season. Um, I would have liked, I think I. I think I might get aggressive if I see something wrong early. I I think what was it last year? Nine to one buckeyes, was it that high? I think it was around this time last year. I gotta look I'll have to.

40:21 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
You know what? And this is the most high insight 2020 of all time. But I did see some I think it was after they lost to michigan six to one, ish, um, so you've got. I mean, that's again easy to say now. They didn't have an easy path, um, but I think that's as high as it got.

40:40 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Uh, out of there we got a few nine to one oh sheet here. Okay, nine to one was the first one available last year. That I regret, because that was, I think, by the next day. It was like down to five to one on the buck, guys, but that was like a year in advance. What were you gonna say?

41:01 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I'm sorry, I no, just a couple of of industry uh things there. Richard mentions roth playing on the acl for most of the year, torn acl. It must have been a slight like uh, I'm not, I only play a doctor on twitter sometimes but it must have been something where he just had a very minor tear and they were able to play with the brace on it all year would have been my guess. But yeah, that that is a real. You usually don't see that. The other one was Jay, oh, jaden Rashada leaving Georgia.

41:41
I tell you what, if there's a red flag for any player, it's a kid that moves around too much, even even in going in like you go to high school or that, or you go to like. That's usually the sign of a guy that's not going to. And I know it's the transfer portal era and kids move around more. But when you're talking about commit, decommit, commit, decommit, commit portal, that's usually not the best sign for long-term success. You heard anything in terms of where he's going to land. I wouldn't take him. You might have to transfer. I'm not sure it's Malachi Nelson level, but I think he's going to have to transfer down.

42:23 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Oh yeah, g5. Yeah, I don't know, people still take these people.

42:24 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Who took was it?

42:27 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Oregon. Oh yeah, yeah, G5. Yeah, Because you've kind of I don't know People still take these people. Who took? Was it Oregon? Took the idiot Bear Alexander.

42:36 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, that.

42:37 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't see that. That's crazy.

42:38 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, that's that one. I cannot believe they paid for. After seeing what? After his play at USC this year and some of the things that was said about him from Even the Georgia people hated him yeah. He basically could like quit on the season down the stretch. Yeah, you're going to put that guy down.

42:58 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't get that. I'm just saying we'll see if that wins. People are asking me I don't know if that type of stuff wins when it's all said and done, but the Buckeyes paid their roster, that went. There's also teams in there that didn't do much in the portal that are still playing like a Penn State, a Notre Dame A-Train. I mean you obviously Riley Leonard's portal. But I'm talking, you're not taking low character guys.

43:23 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, yeah, what about?

43:26 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Malik.

43:26 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Murphy, mcmurphycmurphy, whatever, no, no, no, just uh, with him leaving, duke, uh, I just there's a few guys that kind of like oh, okay hit the portal. That are names, and I mean murphy was all right, but like I, I just just like where are you gonna go? Like why is it?

43:46 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
oregon, didn't he Murphy?

43:48 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Did he officially go to Oregon State?

43:50 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I thought that's where he went. Chat correct me. I'll be diving After these two semifinal games. I'll be diving into that A-Train. He's got a couple questions. Would you take Notre Dame-Penn State first half under 23.5 minus 128 or?

44:06 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
21.5 minus 115? Oh boy, a-train. Or 21 and a half minus 115. Oh boy, adrian, don't quote me on it, but I believe the 23 and a half 128 is better there. Or you can quote me on it and say I'm an idiot, but I believe the 128 there for the half and the key in 23, I believe the 128 is better, adrian.

44:28 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Also, ohio State team total under 30 and a half. I'm not. I'm not on that. Yeah, we're both in, though don't want to fade Ohio State.

44:42 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, I'm really like I don't want to.

44:43 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't want to be overloaded with recency bias, but that could be that they're just.

44:48 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I don't want to bet I mean the team that we thought we were getting coming into this year at least some people tent thought they were by far number one.

44:57 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I had my doubts, you know, but that that's what it looks like. I mean, I'm just saying that's what that these you know all--time great Alabama, georgia, lsu teams the last 15 years. This is what it looks like, folks. So I mean, I don't want to fade it right now, I just don't, especially with this Texas team.

45:19 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, I agree with you, If it was a different Texas team.

45:22 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I don't know, I don't think there's a team out there. There isn't.

45:24 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Yeah, right, a team out there there isn't yeah.

45:28 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Hadn't seen the dominant team all year, including Ohio State. What they've done the last two weeks is unlike anything we've seen from anybody all year. So I don't know Any closing thoughts. I got nothing.

45:41 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
Just go Bob's tonight, baby.

45:47 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I guess my math is wrong. So ohio state to win the championship and anything plus money is looking better than the rollover money lines. Minus 235 ish, minus 250 ish, parlay is even money and they'll likely be even bigger than minus 250 in the championship.

46:01 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
I don't think the plus money is out there anymore and okay, yeah, I thought it was. No, I don't. Yeah, I think all the. I think it's mostly minus 115, or even, depending on where you shop. But yeah, I think most of the plus money has been eaten up on them to win it all, sadly.

46:17 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
All right, let's get to the results of the poll. We got that, zach. Are they with Kanish? Are they with me?

46:32 - Zack Phillips (Announcement)
We got 55, 55 of the chat is montana state minus three.

46:34 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Oh, they're with knish. All right, I'll remember that yeah, you guys are against me, I get it all right, the public all right that that hurts me, but uh, I'm with knish man of the people.

46:48
He's out there in the streets with the people. You know it Kissing. You know shaking hands, kissing babies, putting in bet slips, jamming kiosks. I got nothing else, man. You got anything. You're going to see us twice more. I mean we're being a little coy because I mean for content. I mean we got to talk about a game leading into the big orange bowl and then I'm glad we're not doing halftime, especially the Notre Dame game. I was afraid I was going to have to do halftime in one of them. I mean I had to do halftime in the Notre Dame-Georgia game and then postgame and I was just not in a great mental state. So I mean I was happy but I mean I was nervous, I was like shaking you should see me. I mean I'm nuts.

47:27 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
So I mean I am?

47:31 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
I mean, I didn't even sit for the whole, I was just pacing the entire game. I don't know. I'm glad I don't have to do that. All right, I got nothing.

47:41 - Joey Knish (Co-host)
That's the show, folks. Yep, let's do it. We'll see everybody Thursday and we'll we'll officially have some, some props for both.

47:46 - Brad Powers (Co-host)
Oh yeah, we'll do best bets, We'll do best player props, we'll be doing best bets on the game.
