Um, as far as sketchy situations, I would just say that a few years ago I was in Chicago and I needed to place a bet in Michigan, and so I took the train to cross the border at like 2am and I got off in this random town and realized that the internet on the iPad that I was using to play spades didn't work. So I needed wifi. But it was 2am, nothing was open. So I was literally walking around this random town in Michigan trying to find someone's house wifi that I could steal. Finally found one and it kept breaking in and out and I had to climb a tree to get onto their Wi-Fi. Still only had one bar, but it stayed, placed some bets, ubered back and, yeah, by far the sketchiest thing I've done. I'm the best dude.

In Alabama. You know we deal with PPHs a lot and once I had to get called in to the USPS they wouldn't deliver the package. They like left me some note and it was because they they, I guess got detected and a bookie had sent me cash in a box and they did not hide it well enough. So I had to. I had to confirm what the cash was for from the USPS guy, which was quite awkward. I was not selling drugs, instead it was sports betting, but both of those probably were frowned upon. So cash in a box at USPS, not the best I haven't been in any sketchy situations.

It's like you're asking the most revealing question about my personality, which is like I avoid any sketchiness, so I don't have a good answer. But now you know, my risk tolerance is basically zero.

I've been in a few sketchy situations, I'd say. You know, there's been a lot of times when I'm driving around with the backpack full of like 300,000 in cash, which is a little bit scary. At least it was the first few times. It's kind of amazing how quickly you kind of it becomes normal.

Definitely. Back in the day I used to bet action points a lot Points bets, people know them as and I used to go out, get wasted and then I would fire in multiple hundred dollar action points with no caps on them and I would wake up in the morning on Mondays and not know the book. You would or I'd talk to the agent and he'd say you lost 25 and I didn't know if it was 2,500 or 25,000. And I probably had a net worth of a thousand dollars and one of those weeks it was 25,000. So with no, really no income coming in.

So there it is. But I would say the actual, actual sketchiest for me was this is like 14 years ago. We were working with an agent this guy who actually is still in the space, and I'm not going to name him for obvious reasons after you hear this story but he owed us like $400,000 and he came to a meeting he had. He came to a meeting, a lunch meeting and brought a mob enforcer who basically said this guy's not going to pay and so we said okay, we'll go. You know, you know I value having both kneecaps like intact, and but that was that was. That was pretty sketchy.

It's a difficult situation because you know he knows that you're a sharp better. I know that he's scumming me and scamming me, so just trying to get it was about $20,000. Trying to get that out how can you pretend that you're not as smart or do? That Didn't work. Unfortunately we were not able to get the money out. But that was a sketchy situation, nothing too crazy for me so far.

All right. So I guess this is like pre-COVID story when I used to meet the PPH outs more often. One time a guy was handing me a significant amount of money and before he'd give me the money, he kept asking me, asking me over and over hey, let's walk to your car, let's walk to your car. And I was like all right, this was in like the city of Westwood. So, like tons of people, I was like you know, nothing terrible is going to happen, but it's crazy.

My hunch was he was realizing how much he was trying to hand me and I think he wanted to see what car I drive, to see if, like, the relationship makes sense. So we walk back to the car and it's public street. There's not, everything was fine. He looks at me, hands me the envelope and says this is going to be the last time we see each other. And that moment actually taught me like that you kind of had to sometimes have some kind of like flashy nonsense to sort of convince other people in the industry that things make sense, because there's no way he was going to continue a relationship. I had like a cheap car at the time and he's like none of this makes sense. But I remember originally thinking like oh, this, this, maybe this industry's kind of you know, maybe not for me. This is kind of scary actually, but things worked out in the end. It was nothing.

Keep in mind, I've been doing casino AP before. I did sports betting AP and, as sketchy as some people in sports betting are, there are some sketchy casinos out there there, and so I have. I think the sketchiest one that sticks out of my mind is, uh, seeing 12 security officers all line up pointing at me and then looking at each other as to who has to give the direction to go tackle this guy and trying to run out of the casino before they could get to me. That's probably more sketchy on my part, but it was, yeah, not fun.

Like carrying large amount of cash at a kiosk, going to it like maybe not the nicest casino that was a Boyd Casino late at night and having you know $6,000 cash on you and just being feared that you're gonna get mugged or whatever at the. You know six thousand dollars cash on you and just being feared that you're gonna get mugged or whatever at the you know this random parking garage would probably be number one, nothing like you know, just having to do that several times. I can't think of anything other than that.
